If you’ve been engaged or married, you’ve wondered how you’re going to look in your wedding dress. You’ve pictured yourself walking down the aisle a million times in your mind. And you’ve probably found yourself panicking, wondering if you’re body is wedding dress ready. And chances are, you’ve found yourself searching Google or Pinterest for a wedding dress workout to get your bod ready for the big day. I know I was when I got engaged! Luckily, the internet is filled with tons of amazing workouts to target whatever part of the body you need. If you’re on the hunt for a wedding dress workout, this post is for you. Because today I’m sharing some of my favorites for each part of the body.
I love this Skinny Mom workout for 17 Free Weight Exercises for Toned Arms. Since I was wearing a strapless dress, it was super important to me that my arms and upper back were toned so they would look amazing in my wedding dress. If you’re wearing a strapless dress, or any dress for that matter, this workout would be great for you!
I recently discovered this leg slimming and toning workout. It’s meant to be a 30-minute workout, but you can easily make it shorter by cutting the number of repetitions of each move. I think this would be a great one to do for 5-10 minutes first thing in the morning or right before bed!
I’ve really gotten into Blogilates over the past 6 months. I love her personality, she’s super upbeat and makes me want to keep working out. And I always get such a great workout from her videos. I love that her website breaks down videos by body focus. Her ab workouts have become my favorite, and I especially love this 8 minute ab and oblique workout!
When it comes to cardio, running is such a good workout. But to be honest, I haven’t run any significant distance since high school. One of my personal goals for 2016 is to be able to run a 5k, so I’ve been looking into the Couch to 5K program. If you want to get an amazing cardio workout but aren’t super you’re up to running, you might want to check it out!
Let me know in the comments if you’re going to try to incorporate running into your workouts this year. If people are interested, I would love to do some Couch to 5K check-in posts!
I love Pilates, but up until recently didn’t do it very often because I didn’t feel like I got enough of a workout. But I began doing The Ultimate 30-Minute Cardio Pilates Burner, and I’m obsessed. This has become my favorite workout! It’s an amazing workout. I feel like I’m burning just as many calories as running. The best part is that it has sections to target legs, arms, abs, and cardio. I’m always beat after I finish this video, so I know I’m getting an awesome workout!
If you read my post My 5 Favorite YouTube Channels for Working Out at Home, you know that Jessica Smith is one of my favorite YouTube workout channels. I particularly love her kickboxing circuit workout for an amazing full-body workout! It’s a great combination of strength training and cardio.
