As much as I aspire to be one day, I’m not a great photographer. That should be evident by the amount of stock photos I use on my blog. Would I love to be able to talk all my own pictures? Of course! But it’s more important to me that the pictures be high quality, which I haven’t quite mastered yet. Because of this, I have spent a fair bit of time exploring sites that offer free stock photos.
Pixabay – This is always one of the first places I check for stock photos. They have photos of every category and it’s super easy to search the site!
Pexels – This site, like Pixabay, is one of my go-to sites. While they don’t have as many photos, I find the quality to be better.
Unsplash – 10 beautiful new photos are added every 10 days. There are lots of nature and outdoor photos, and you can get them sent right to your email!
Death to the Stock Photo – Hop on their email list and you’ll get a new photo pack every month. I’ve loved every pack I’ve gotten!
StockSnap.io – This is a relatively new site for me, but super easy to use with some great photos. The homepage is simple and you just use the search bar to find what you’re looking for.
PicJumbo – Another easy-to-use site that doesn’t require attribution. They have tons to choose from, and I’ve been loving the holiday pictures available lately!
